Hans enjoys the freedom to recommend any product that he deems suitable for his students. Investment Advisors should ‘Walk Their Talk’
When seeking investment advice it is important to ensure that your investment advisor ‘walks their talk.’ Ensure that your investment advisor is applying the same strategies that they are suggesting and that they have increased their wealth through these strategies. It is not good enough for them to tell you they are implementing these strategies you need to see proof that they have increased their wealth.
Many investment advisors are nothing more than glorified sales people who have done no investment training but have been given sales training. They have been trained to sell a particular investment product to you and that is the extent of their knowledge.
Remember when dealing with any investment advice that you are the most qualified person to manage your money. You have the closest relationship with yourself and your money. An investment advisor sees you as only another customer with a certain amount of money from which he can make a good commission on.
