When some people think of a salesperson, they conjur up images of a ’slick young man with gold rings and an expensive car who’s out to rip me off’.

Whilst this may be true of some, the reality is that the best sales people are those who understand people’s needs and come up with solutions to meet them.

You will need to develop these very same skills as a property investor.

Getting a deal through isn’t a matter of beating the other party into submission, but rather, it’s creating scenarios that allow everyone to benefit.

Try to think outside the box in your dealings, and understand what the other party is trying to achieve. If you can satisfy their needs and desires you’ll get a lot further with what you want!
