What are they?

A few days ago I sat down and thought to myself, ‘what are the personal attributes that are critical to real estate investing success?’.

In other words, why is it that some people succeed at real estate investing while others do not?

I believe there are three important attributes that successful investors have in common and I just wanted to share them with you now.

1. Knowledge - you must know a good deal from a bad one and you must know how you intend to profit from a transaction. Quality education is the key.

2. Persistence - good deals take effort to find. Sometimes it takes a lot of effort. However, the reward is well worth it. You will need to keep out there looking. Sadly, most people give up too early.

3. Courage - When you’ve found the right property, you’ve got to ‘pull the trigger’. Some people know all there is to know, and enjoy the hunt to find properties, but rarely, if ever act on the great deals they find - don’t be one of these people.

Here’s the good news - I consistently find that when I teach people how to be successful real estate investors, they soon become motivated ‘deal chasers’.

Even better, any fear they may have had about investing soon subsides as their increased knowledge breeds confidence to take the steps necessary to make a HUGE difference in their lives.

Here’s a word of warning though:

There are many critics and “know it alls” out there who can easily blow you off course with their OPINIONS. You may think they are protecting you when in reality they are simply stealing your dream. Just remember that opinions are not facts and smart investors base their decisions on FACTS, not the opinions of others who may or may not be successful property investors themselves.

The key point is to invest in your own education so you develop the confidence to make your own decisions irrespective of what others may think or say.
