  • Commercial tenants may require fit outs and structural changes which can affect the ability to rent the property again.
  • The ability to borrow against a commercial property investment can be less than that against a residential property investment and this can be more demanding on the investor

Rental Property Tenants – Myth Busted

Some real estate educators and agents will advise that you should advertise that you accept pets at your rental property.  The philosophy behind this being that there is a limited supply of these properties currently available for rent.  This is a massive real estate property myth!

By allowing pets into your rental property you are inviting disaster.  Tenants at your property care about your property less than you do!  Pets will drop fur, mark floors and leave pungent odours – all hassles that can turn a passive income return into a massive, costly headache.
